Kostanai State Pedagogical Institute Historical museum
The historical museum of Kostanai State Pedagogical Institute was opened on September, 21st, 2005.The museum is guided by Kazakhstan Republic's law «About culture», the government program «the Cultural heritage for 2003-2006» confirmed by the Governmental order of Kazakhstan Republic from September, 5th, 2003 № 903, and also by orders of higher bodies and institute managements.
There are 14 stands and 14 small, and 3 big glass show-windows with sections: the institute history; veterans of the institute; the institute departments; foreign communications; the institute science;the institute presentation; on a way to the world standard; achievements in sport; national kinds of musical instruments in the institute museum. 131 exhibits and 166 photos are placed here.
14 stands are near the Assembly hall of the main building of the institute on the II floor. 269 archival documents, 56 newspaper materials of last years, 343 photos are used in these stands.
There are three albums in the museum: Books of honour guests. Book of the institute's visitors.Book of the institute's honorary.
The institute's history develops from the history of the departments and others structural institute divisions. And the aim of all these materials is to promote the up brining of Kazakhstan patriotism, to help students to become the professional experts in their business in future.
The materials concerning upbrining and education, research, administration, library and medical service is gathering with this aim in all divisions of the institute.
There are a lot of photos and video-materials concerning different sides of the institute's life in the institute museum today. For example:
• 672 photos devoted to the 9th practical science conference: international, republican, regional from 2005 till October, 2007. About the book exhibitions devoted to all these conferences-25 photos.
• Arrival of Dariga Nazarbaeva in Kostanai and in our institute in April, 2007-22 photos.
• Meeting of the students with the deputies of the Senate and Mazhilis of Kazakhstan Republic in 2005-50 photos.
• Inauguration of the French Cultural centre. Visit by the ambassador of France of our institute in April 2007 - 83 photos and 60 minutes vidio.
• Traditional readings devoted to Altunsarin in 2005, 2006, 2007- 205 photos.
• Meeting devoted to the problems of languages at the institute in 2007- 10 photos.
•Meeting with veterans of the Second World War in 2005 - 40 photos, in 2006 - 56 photos.
• Methodological seminars:
- introduction of computer technology by Natural Sciences Department in 2004-4 photos.

We helped in organisation and creation of a museum of Kostanai College for autoroads construction and explotation automobile.Zvenigorskaya Anna Petrovna,a vice-director of the museum, visited our museum with the purpose of consultation.We helped in writing diploma work devoted to the institute's history written by the part-time student of History Department several times.
More than 1000 people visited the institute museum during 2 years of its existence. They are students, teachers, employees of the institute, and the teachers of elementary and high schools who study in the institute as part-time students.
The museum is visited by students from other higher educational institutions of our city. For example: students of Kostanai State University after A.Bajtursynov, Central Asian university. And also the school children from the school after S.Maulenov visited our museum with the purpose of professional-oriented work.
